We recently bought our house and the lawn is a total mess. It’s 95% weeds or bare spots. So obviously we can’t enjoy our lawn. I would love your perspective on what we could do.

We have a fairly large lawn. Our house sits on a little over an acre of land.

I would like a nice lawn, but I’m not willing to water the lawn. That is for a couple reasons: I don’t want to “waste” water because of environmental reasons. We don’t have a sprinkler system and I don’t plan on installing one. The cost of watering the lawn would be prohibitive.

Please let me know your thoughts and solutions, including an idea of the cost.

    Thank you,

    Andrew
